Lena Hughes - Character Design

Meet Lena Hughes.
Lena is a young 14-year-old witch. She's around 1,45 meters tall, has short brown hair and rosy cheeks covered with freckles. She wears a hat that's just a tad too big and has silver earrings.
Lena is a very energetic girl. She enjoys being outside and is very fond of plants. She inherited her love for plants form her father, who sadly passed away in an accident that involved magic when Lena was six. Although she misses her father dearly, she finds comfort in their shared love for plants.
But Lena has powers she's not very fond of. She has fire powers and struggles to keep them under control. This results in her burning plants again and again. The only other person with magic near Lena is her mother, whom she inherited her fire powers from. Unfortunately, her mother refuses to teach her. After her husband passed away, she swore to not involve herself with magic ever again.
So now it's up to Lena to find someone who will teach her.
